Selkon's industrial ice machines produce quality flake ice that is perfect for use in the food and fishing industries. Flake ice is a type of thin and flat ice. Ice rings are formed inside the drum by pouring water on it. As soon as the water touches the drum, it freezes and turns into a layer of ice. The ice is supercooled to make it brittle and then crushed with an ice knife so that it falls into the bin.
